Hello there my fellow worldlings!

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to say a big Hello and Welcome to my blog!

Over the coming weeks I hope to get this updated with my journey so far. It’s been a long time to get to where I am now, so I have a lot to cover. So Pleeeeease bear with me and I will bring you all up to date on what’s been happening in my life over the recent 40 years or so. Haha

Why I started this Website

Having grown up in a less than tolerant environment, issues of Gender and Sexuality were completely alien to me for many years. As a child, I had it drummed into me that “Homosexuality” was wrong. There was no difference of any other sexuality other than “Gay” or “Straight” let alone anything about Gender or the difference in what Gender someone is and what their Sexuality is. At home it was Indoctrinated that it was “Wrong” and “Sinful”, especially from my father who was (and still is) particularly homophobic. Outside the home, living in a small town, there wasn’t much in the way of tolerance and anyone who wasn’t Alpha Male and Straight was a “Poof”. So not only was there a lack of education of these topics but also a fear instilled which has taken me many years to overcome, and am still overcoming daily.

But, having recently come to terms with myself, I feel as though I have such a weight off my shoulders and this is all thanks to the fact that I was able to learn so much since the discovery of the worldwide web, although it has still taken many years to come to where I’m at now. I am a strong believer that education is paramount and I would like to pass on the knowledge I have been fortunate enough to discover along with my own experience in the hope that others may be helped to discover themselves sooner than I did in life.

I am also a strong believer that Life is too short NOT to come to acceptance of ourselves. It has been through watching and reading other peoples stories and experiences that I have been able to discover my true self and I feel it’s only right that I add to the wealth of Information available online. So, I have decided to share my story as well as my thoughts and opinions on these matters that others may benefit from it in time to come.

So why did it take me so long to come to terms with myself and who i am? Well, this is what I will be discussing over the next few weeks as well as updating you with what’s going on in my life right now.

Well, I’ve been wanting to make this site for quite a few weeks now but my minds been buzzing with excitement of everything I want to say. So it’s taken me a few weeks to decide on exactly what I want to do and how I plan on going about presenting what i want to say.
