My New house in Reflection.

So, tonight I was visiting a friend who gave me a few bits for my new house. They were redecorating and so had a few bits n peices they no longer needed. Amongst which being another mirror, so I’ll have more reflection around the house.

My new house in Reflection

Funnily enough, I was only yesterday thinking to myself that I should maybe get another big mirror to go with the two big ones I have already. But I like them in the living room and was thinking that one for the bedroom would be good

Since I moved in back in November, I e just been making the place homelier a little bit at a time. Adding a little bit of furniture or bedding, towels etc. So it’s starting to look more and more like my own with each little addition.

ot having a car at the moment slows things down a little bit as the buses aren’t great around here either. So it’s been a little slowe than I’d have doubtlessly furnished furnished it otherwise.

Reflection in a house

But it makes each little bit feel more special as it slowly comes together. So, I was quite chuffed to get the mirror tonight. It adds that little bit more reflection around the place. I like having mirrors around for getting ready,. They’re really handy.

I also think that mirrors look pretty cool around the house too. Their reflections really give the place character anSo, I think I’ll d liven the place up. That’s what I think anyway.

But I guess not everyone likes mirrors. Some people see them as signs of bad luck and all that yoghurt but I do t really bother much about stuff like that. But if I really don’t want to look in the mirror, I just don’t look at it.

So, I think I’ll be putting this one in the bedroom. With it’s long tall shape and size, it’s ideal for getting dressed in.

It makes sense to have a mirror on my bedroom since this where I keep my clothes so I don’t need to me keep going through to the living room each time I need to look in the mirror.

Settling in nicely

So, yeah. It’s coming along nicely I think. As I said, perhaps not as quick as I may have furnished the place had I a car. But I guess it makes you appreciate it all the more as it slowly turns more and more into a home and not just a house.

I’ve got a few good idea for the place so I’m working on that, little by little. Keeping my eyes open wherever I go for stuff for ye house. But unfortunately it’s not been that often. It’s usually a couple of buses to get the 5 miles to bathgate where the shops are.

Watch this space is Well I just thought I’d share that little gem with y’all. I’ll do some more as I slowly furnish and decorate the place more with my own personal touch
