Some Photos of Me after a Makeup Session

Well, I have to say its been a busy past couple of weeks for me when it comes to watching YouTube Tutorials on how to apply make up and look very feminine and earn some fundamentals that I had previously never knew. So, I decided to post up Some Photos of Myself.

Some Photos Of me in my New Make Up

Well, I figured that as I want to try and Blog about as much of my Journey as I can that this would be a good little post to put up where I can share with y’all my latest developments. No doubt in the future, I will scroll back to this post and cringe. But for now, I feel quite happy with my progress as I seem to have learned more in the past few weeks than I have done in my 13 years or so of trying it.

I have to admit that YouTube has played a major part of my recent learning but that is just another amazing thing about the worldwide web and everything that you can learn from it. Its amazing what you can get nowadays simply by typing in a few words and clicking a button.

As you can see in my photos, I decided to go for a Turquoise eye shadow with the winged eye liner covering not only the eyelids but also the under brow to give it a sorta glammy goth look. It was just a random Idea really tat took me at the time, so I decided to go with it. Although, I have to say, I wouldn’t normally apply that much eye shadow. But I thought it looked good for the occasion.

The Leopard Dress was also a rather spur of the moment decision to wear at the time a couple of nights ago, but I think it seems to go well with the colourful effect that I seem to emanate here.

Perfect for Practice

I recently bought a make up set from eBay which was pretty cheap but ideal for a beginner to practice with which pretty much includes everything you need except for the foundation, although I already have some lovely L’Oréal Foundation that I completely adore.

But it has everything else from Eye Liner, Eye Shadow, Blushers, Contour and more including a whole manicure set with a set of Three different colours Nail Varnishes, Nail files, Toe spacers and applicators. You can read more about these sets here;

Technic 35 Piece Make Up Clear Box Gift Set

So, this has been a great opportunity to put to use with what I’d learned with of course, so its been great to practice to learn more when I have plenty of Make-up to test out different techniques, colours, styles, ,etc when you plenty of make up.

That’s the great thing about the cheaper bargain Make up sets is that theyre great for quantity and just learning make up, then its a good economic way of doing it if you’re likely to be going through a lot of it quick. Doing this with some of the more expensive and better quality brands can be rather expensive for a beginner.

YouTube Make Up Tutorials

Photo of me after a makeup session

As I mentioned before, YouTube today is an absolutely amazing source of Information and tutorials on how to apply your make up with a whole range of talented make up artists who are amazing at showing you how to apply make up and are great at teaching some of the Fundamentals of using make up to feminize your Face.

I have to admit that over 13 years of attempting to apply make up and instead just slapping it on, many of these fundamentals I didn’t know about until recently whilst watching some of these Tutorials. One such Video that is absolutely brilliant at this is a BBC Tutorials Video that is presented by the beautiful Archie who is completely awesome at teaching you how to add make up in a particular way that makes you face look more feminine.

You can watch this tutorial here:

Face Feminisation Makeup Tutorial

This tutorial is just one of many of the brilliant Tutorials on YouTube. Some of my favourite Makeup Video Tutorials on YouTube I have Included below.

How To Contour For Beginners by Tina Yong

In this Video, Tina Yong explains and demonstrates to you how to best apply your contour for the best effects and to gain the shape and feature highlights you want for your face. This is a good contouring tutorial for beginners.

IN DEPTH: FACIAL FEMINIZATION MAKEUP TUTORIAL HOW TO (UPDATED) | TRANSGENDER TRANSFORMATION MTF
by Pheobe Rose

This is actually a really good walk through video that takes you through the whole process off feminising your face from beginning to end and is presented in a really easy to follow way by the delightful Phoebe Rose.

She really has a lovely voice that makes it easy to follow word for word and make yourself look like a princess.

Again, she explains many of the fundamentals of face feminisation as she goes. You can also tell from the quality of her video editing and sampling of humorous clips that she really does make a great effort to make videos that are easy for anyone to follow.

She takes her time to explain to you why she’s doing everything so that you not only learn what you should do it, but understand why you are doing it.

She’s such a perfectionist too that this is actually an updated video from one she already made a year or so before.

I really would recommend this video to anyone who is just getting started with makeup. In fact, I’d actually recommend that you subscribe to her channel as she has a multitude of amazing videos you can learn from.

Transition 101 – Make-up Class for Beginners! by Stef Sanjati

In this Video Tutorial, beautiful Stef Sajith walks you through the process of doing her makeup from beginning to end in her own Goth style. This girl is always so buzzing with energy and positivity and it certainly rubs off on me. She takes the time to explain the whys and wherefos of what she is showing you as she goes so that you learn and understand the fundamental techniques involved in applying your makeup to get the best results.

Taking your Make Up Off

Here's some photos of me after a little makeup session a couple of nights ago using much of what I have learned through watching makeup tutorials on YouTube.

When You’re taking your Make Up off, be sure to use proper make up remover, not just soap and water. The reason for this is that when you apply make up to your face it gets into your pores. Makeup remover is specifically designed to draw it back out every pore and let it be washed away naturally.

Be sure to use a good quality Makeup remover as this is how your skin will be left and you want to make saure that it hasnt missed any as well as making sure that the makeup remover not only works and gets ALL the makeup out of all your pores, you want to make sure that it isnt rough on your Skin.

Personally, I like to use Nivea Makeup Remover which I would highly recommend. In fact, I’d highly recommend Nivea for most skincare products.

Try to apply the make up remover and clean it in circular fashion smoothly letting it lather your face. Try to always be sweeping in the way towards the centre of your face. This helps prevents wrinkles from forming due to the stretching of your skin.

Once again, YouTube is amazing for tutorials on how best to do this and there are many talented make up artists who are excellent at teaching you how to remove your Makeup and explain all of their videos in a way that you can easily follow and best understand.

Some of my favourite videos I have watched lately on YouTube are;

  3. I mean, this article is for people who are into makeup. I am not really big on it so I cannot say much about this article. I do although have a partner that loves to do makeup so I will be sure to refer this article to her. I will let you know how she takes it

  4. Great info!

My younger sibling is gender fluid but does have very masculine features that I assumed would be hard to mask when they had the desire to do so. This article will be an inspiration and a great resource for insights, so I will share it with them promptly.

Keep up the great work documenting your experiences and I am sure you will help a lot of people!

  5. What a great article for you showing what it is like in your journey as a Trangender. And I think it will help support a lot of people who are going through that discovery process as well. The difficulties in learning any skill, such as applying makeup are time-consuming and for you to show and explain how it is done is amazing.

I hope you educate a lot of others in your amazing journey.

We change from day to day and minute to minute. We might as well enjoy every moment and version of ourselves because life is short! Everyone is at a different stage in their own journey so any post you share takes courage and will help someone else in a similar stage of life. So keep going and refining your own unique look. I love seeing people authentically expressing themselves.
