In this day and age, there is no real reason why we cannot relax while the machine works for us. With the power of the worldwide web, we are now only just starting to see this come into effect. People can now work online from home. Unfortunately though, we have a couple of things to contend with in order to move towards making this possibility any sort of reality. These things are;
- The Fear of greed and the mismanagement of Wealth
It’s completely understandable to be suspicious of the greedy rich people who own the machines just increasing their profits whilst the poor get slung aside to starve. That’s why it is important to set the rules straight before we get to that stage. Basic Income, to me is the solution to this.
Make sure everyone is fed and watered with enough money each month to get by with their basic needs. The option of work can be there for those who wish to do work. They can earn extra cash. Afterall, it still takes the people to operate the machines and there are so much online work to do in retail too.
2. Stop Punishing ourselves
Unfortunately, especially here in the West, people seem to have this mangey “Why should I?” attitude that stinks of jealousy. We see this already today with bitter working people who complain about the people on benefits and are bitter that someone else might be having an easier time than them. That needs to stop because it’s a diseased and toxic attitude that holds back progress in so many levels.
Embracing the Future
I must admit that once upon a time, I was a bit of a Luddite myself. But when I discovered the magnificent creation that is the Worldwide Web, I saw then the endless possibilities that lay ahead in our new age of modern technology. I think that in the past couple of years, most people are starting to realize that when many of them were assigned to work at home on their computers during the lockdown periods of the Global COVID-19 pandemic.
This has had a knock on effect as people are slowly coming to realize that travelling to and from work each day no longer has to be a necessity. Not when they can just carry on working at home (or anywhere else for that matter) on their computer, laptop, tablet, or in some cases, even on their phone. It truly is a remarkable era that we are currently living in as regards technology and its endless possibilities. We should be embracing it and making it work to our benefit rather than fearing it.
Finding Your Machine
So, as we head on forward into this brand new age and discover its capabilities, we need to look around and find our own machine. There are so many ways to earn a living using your computer. You just need to have a look around to find what method suits you best.
All computers work on code and there are numerous layers of coding involved there. So there you have a range of different coding languages you could learn that you can then use these skills to make money. Gaming which is a big thing online , depends on coding. How cool would it be to make and sell your own video games for a living. Life doesn’t have to be a drag for you to be doing it right. Dispel that old myth straight away!
Then you have online retail. There are so many products for sale online and so many people now using their computers to do their online shopping. Especially since the Covid pandemic, the world of online retail has created so many online work openings. You don’t even need capital to get started.
