“You do realise your DNA and Chromosomes can never be changed don’t you?” is a line I hear so often by people who are Anti-Trans. They’ll parrot this whilst trying to sound like they know what they’re talking about, yet sound so transparent how they’re copying what they heard some other clueless fool parrot before them. They try to convince us that you cant change your gender.
Yet, if they had half a clue what they’re talking about, they’d realise that we already know this. At least most genuine Transsexual people already know that we cant change our gender. This is exactly why we are changing our sex.
You can’t Change your Gender
I am a Transsexual woman and I’m very happy and proud to call myself such. The reason? It’s self explanatory I’m Changing (Trans) my sex (sexual). I don’t use the term “Transgender” for various reasons which I wont go into in this article. But probably the main reason I don’t use that term is because I’m not changing my gender and don’t believe that One can change their Gender. But we can Change our Sex.
Your Gender is Inbuilt
When we decide to Transition, we do of course change our Gender roles and often we start living in the role of our true gender. But our gender is Inbuilt and cant be changed. Of course, our gender doesn’t always align with the Sex we were born as and the genitals we were born with. Most often than not, we are then expected to live in the gender role that aligns with our sex. But, as we know, this isn’t always the correct path.
For many of us, we have indeed tried to change our gender. Tried through years of day to day living. Attempting to liver in the role of a gender that we don’t feel ourselves in. In some cases, others have tried to change Trans peoples Gender for them by using corrective therapy. This is a barbaric so called “treatment” that Involves strapping the patient to the wall and electrocuting them with probes in an attempt to Zap them into the gender that aligns with our sex we were born with. But even after years of that, IT never worked.
We Can Change Our Sex
It is because we cant change our gender that we change our sex. Now, for those who dont know, having a sex change is not an easy Task. I should Imagine most people with common sense would know this, yet what I frequently see posted online or muttered amongst assholes, It would make One think it was something we just do for some sort of giggle. Very wrong Indeed. Undergoing Hormone Replacement Therapy is no giggle. It is emotional and mental hell at times as well as physically challenging. Noyt to mention the predjudices wer face and stick we take daily for being Trans.
Now, I cant speak for every Trans person, but speaking for myself, I can assure you, If there was a way of Changing my gender, I’d have done it a long time ago. IF I was able to simply change my gender to align with the Male genitalia I was born with, It would be a damn site easier than all of this. But I cant. I tried to change my gender for almost 30 years by “Manning Up”. But It doesnt work.
This is why when living in the wrong gender role becomes too much for us, we fix it by changing our sex. This is something that can be done and brings a great deal of contentment and happiness by aligning our sex with our gender. If that goal could be achieved easier, trust me, I’d be doing it.
Gender is pre written
But as the haters love to say, “You Cant change your DNA and Chromosome’s“. So, no matter how hard we may try to act the role of a particular gender out of expectation, we can never really be happy in ourselves whilst living that lie. You see, when DNA was First discovered and the study of chromosomes was still young, Scientists deemed it that women were born with XX Chromosomes and Men were born with XY chromosomes.
But, as time went on, they started to realise that even chromosome’s weren’t necessarily binary. Some people started showing up with XXY, XXXY chromosome’s and numerous other variations. This hard scientific reality shows that being a Transsexual Woman or Man isn’t a matter of choice. Its how we are born. The Only thing we have a choice on is whether we either Shut up and put up with it, or do something about it. What can we do about it? We can change sex to align with our gender. We don’t change gender to align with our sex because we cant change our gender.
The Haters are right
So, when I hear these assholes trying to be smart with their “You do know Chromosome’s cant be changed don’t you, It makes me laugh because they’re only actually backing up our entire reason for Transition. Of course, their Intention is usually the opposite. But this just goes to show how little they know about what they’re babbling. But, they’re right. We cant change gender. So we do the only thing left that we can do in order to live in happiness. WE change our sex.
